Leaves
the leaves whisper their stories to me
stories of being overlooked
yet holding the weight of nature with quiet grace
they teach me the art of letting go
when it’s time to release, you set it free
like autumn leaves drifting towards the earth
falling with grace instead of fear
trusting the wind to carry what they can’t hold
and in that gentle surrender
you rise again stronger, softer,
and more beautiful
it’s not the end
you’re not weak
you're simply loosening your grip on what hurts
even the brightest leaves must fall
to make room for new green to grow
and in their soft rustling
the leaves remind me i am enough
and in a world of flowers,
i will always choose
the strength of the leaf
